A Senior Graphic Designer at Luci Creative will have exceptional organizational skills and design sensibilities and be ready to lead the design and production of complex cross-channel projects. A qualified candidate will have outstanding communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to organize, prioritize and manage tight deadlines.

We’re actively looking for a freelance designer with a reputation for quality work, strategic thinking, killer execution abilities, and serious typography and layout chops. Must have at least 5 years of agency experience including exhibit or experience design.

Essential Job Functions:

• Work closely with the Graphic Design team and other department team leads on project design and production within multiple phases of an exhibit project
• Design graphic systems, exhibit panels, and supergraphics
• Develop external brand collateral that aligns with client goals
• Interpret and execute feedback
• Integrate content into panel designs
• Hands-on creation of print-ready graphics

Required:

• Ability to collaborate in a team environment that includes creative staff, fabrication teams and client contacts
• A portfolio that includes strong typography, color, grids, and layout design skills
• Proficient in Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, and Excel)
• Familiarity with SketchUp or other environmental design tools
• Ability to quickly adapt to a new team and workflow processes
• Ability to work with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess excellent communications skills – verbal, written, and sketching
• Communicate effectively with teammates from different departments and vendor partners
• Must have a reputation for attention to detail, accuracy, quality and organization
• Strategic and conceptual thinker, able to articulate unique ideas quickly and effectively
• General understanding of exhibit construction and materials and production process
• B.A. in Graphic Design, Communications Design, Exhibition Design
