Sing “Take me out to the ballgame” in a Harry Caray broadcast booth. Compare your jump to Michael Jordan’s. Test your reaction time against NHL goalies.
These are just a few of the activities that engage visitors at the Chicago Sports Museum, a unique museum that is part of the popular Harry Caray’s sports restaurant chain. Iconic artifacts from Chicago sports legends and curses, and gestural interactives, allow visitors to experience baseball, football, basketball, and hockey like never before. The museum draws traffic up to its companion restaurant space and creates a large additional source of revenue for special events.
The design balances operational requirements, artifacts, and a mix of hands-on and digital interactive activities that keep visitors engaged.
