Kids love exploring historic Wagner Farm, so Luci Creative jumped at the opportunity to turn an authentic 1905 wood silo into an interactive and educational exhibit. We wanted to let children and their parents experience the silo size and height from the inside as well as the outside, as the interesting engineering behind silo construction could be more easily explained from multiple vantage points.We added stairs and a loft in order to increase the exhibit area on the same footprint. In the loft kids can build four different types of silos in 1/20 scale of wood and steel in order to further understand silo engineering principles.
